| I bought this phone for ten dollars (after a large mail in-rebate and a new two year contract). It was great for the first few months, then I was getting bad signal and then they it screwed up and the only way I could hear people is if I put it on speaker. In my opinion, this was a big waste of ten dollars! |

| OK, MY SAMSUNG S307 GOT JACKED AND I HAD TO GET A PHONE IN A HURRY, SO I BOUGHT THE ONLY USED CINGULAR PHONE I COULD LAY MY HANDS ON WHICH WAS THE V220. THE PHONE I BOUGHT WAS JUST A COUPLE OF MONTHS OLD AND SOMEONE HAD TRADED IT FOR A DIFFERENT ONE. I THINK I KNOW WHY. HALF THE TIME MY PHONE DOESN'T RING AND MOST OF THE TIME I CAN'T CALL OUT. THIS IS MY ONLY PHONE SO THIS IS A PROBLEM. RECEPTION IS QUESTIONABLE AT BEST. IN A NUTSHELL, COMPARED TO MY SAMSUNG, THIS PHONE BLOWS! DON'T GET ONE-EVER!!!! |

I got this Motorola 220 in March and all of a sudden it died on me in early June. I didn't do nothing to it. I put it on the charger at night, and in the morning it was just dead.
So I got a ride to Cingular thinking they would replace my phone because it was still under warrenty. But when I got to the store, all they did was give me a brochure that said to "call this number for problems." It took 2 times trying, and 20 min. to get through to the customer service.
I explained to the lady that answered what happened, and she didn't believe me at first. She kept talking and questioning me about why my phone wasn't working. I told her I didn't do nothing.
Finally she agreed to send me a replacement, but that after I receive the new cell phone, I have to send my old one back within 14 days or they are going to charge me another $150 bucks. And... if they get it, and it doesn't look like it broke by itself, they will charge me a $150 bucks. (What is this? Some kind of new scare tactic?)
Anyway, I opted for Express mail which means I got it in 2 days, and they even sent me a better phone then the 220. I got it activated but I lost all my phone numbers because the old cell phone died. |

Very good cell phone, nice color and has a cool speaker phone feature and is a camera phone. I get to take pictures of my baby any time I want. Boring ringtones, unless you download them.
I bought the phone from Cingular and paid $180 bucks for it, so I hope it lasts a long time. I got the insurance which is 5 dollars a month, so if it gets lost, I'll get another one. |
